- I would like to propose a new discussion on the
- subject of Shareware Code. I've been thinking about
- this for awhile, have even talked about it (imagine that)
- with a couple clients & collegues and, well, gosh,
- seems like it could be a winning idea, for lots of
- us out here in code soup cooking business. Some of the
- issues that immediately spring forth from my fingertips
- include:
- + all the normal issues that go along with
- the shareware world (legal stuff, maintenance,
- collecting $'s, copyright stuff, liability)
- + what Sven mentions, the possibility
- of review boards, with code reviews
- + archiving and distributing and networking
- Does anyone know of a fairly concise discussion on
- the subject of shareware in general? Perhaps we could
- take the major points from that subject and consider
- them in the world of shareware code...
