- G'day.
-
- I recently tried to run Beyond Dark Castle and some other old games on
- my PowerBook 100. To my surprise, they still worked fine, EXCEPT that
- the display was totally mangled. (wrapped around funny)
-
- The reason for this appears to be that these games assume the screen
- is the standard compact-mac size : 512x342, where my PowerBook 100 is
- 640x400.
-
- My question : can anyone point me to an INIT that can trick the system
- into thinking the screen is only 512x342 ? If not, does anyone feel like
- writing one? ... it would help rescue a number of old graphics programs.
