- Help....
-
- I can't seem to figure out how to get past this error when attempting to
- unmount a server volume from within my program (System 7.0.1/THINK C
- 5.0.2).
-
- I'm getting the error when I've put a file from the server volume in the
- trash and then call UnmountVol(). I can understand the error if the file
- is still in the trash, however, if I've emptied the trash OR taken the file
- out of the trash using 'Put Away' the -47 error remains on subsequent calls
- to UnmountVol().
-
- The only way to unmount the volume is to go to the Finder and drag the
- volume to the trash.
-
- I've seen the problem on both Novell server volumes and VAXshare volumes.
-
- What is Finder doing which I'm failing to do?
-
- Is this related to the invisible "Network Trash Folder" and "Trash Can
- Usage Map" which get created on the server volume?
-
- Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
