- Actually there was a hack at MacHack which put QTMovies into balloon
- help balloons. It was written by Cameron Esfashani of umich. It is on the
- MacHack CD, so I would assume it will make it to the world soon now that the
- CD is out.

- Well, MovieFinder (the QTMovies instead of icons hack), has gone
- through a number of revisions in terms of how is plays the movies - originally
- we had them playing all the time, which looked cool but took some serious CPU
- time (they at least turned off when the Finder was in Bkground). The current
- version has them playing when selected, which seems a bit nicer overall.
-
- I would love to release it to the world, but it has no HI - you have
- to screw with alias records and stuff to create the "movie icon". The code
- has been licensed to Baseline who has incorporated it into their "I Like Icon"
- product which has an HI...(NOTE: I don't get anything on ILI sales, so I don't
- care ifyou buy it or not ;). If somebody has the time and interest in giving
- MovieFinder an HI, drop me a note and we'll see what can be worked out.
