- There are two distributable C compilers on mac.archive.umich.edu, Harvest C
- and the older Sesmec. There's also a Forth compiler.... and these are just
- the couple things I found while looking through the mac.archive.umich.edu index
- file....
-
- LA/HARVESTC 1,524 6/27/92 BinHex4.0,Compact1.33
- /mac/development/languages/harvestc1.2.cpt.hqx
-
- Freely-distributable C compiler and editor. It's standalone, but
- it's also compatible with MPW-C. You can create projects,
- compile, build/link. Even supports a couple of Pragmas. Minimal
- editor does the job.
-
- LA/POKFORTH 251 9/7/92 BinHex4.0,Stuffit3.01
- /mac/development/languages/pocketforth6.1.sit.hqx
-
- Pocket FORTH. A language that comes in both a DA (v 1.6) and an
- application (v 0.6). With very comprehensive documentation.
- FORTH, in general, is supposed to be one of the fastest
- interpreted languages there is. Also includes sample source
- code, a glossary, and a full manual (two parts with addendum).
-
-
- Hope that helps..... (get on our mac.archive frequent ftp'er list by sending
- me e-mail at "mac-recent-request@mac.archive.umich.edu"....)
