  14. My boss' PowerBook 170 won't print, and I can't figure out what the
  15. problem is.  Here's the configuration:

  17. PB 170 with a PowerPort/Gold modem and Envisio NDA/030 video card.
  18. Running System 7.0.1 with most of the TuneUp 1.1.1 package (the actual
  19. TuneUp extension does not work with the Envisio software), the
  20. PowerPort fax software, and ARA.

  22. Normal operations, printing via AppleTalk, ARA, and modem functions
  23. all perform fine.  However, when I try to print to a direct-connect
  24. printer (ImageWriter or Personal LaserWriter LS), it gives an error
  25. message about not being able to find the printer.  I've turned off
  26. AppleTalk, turned of ARA's "Answer calls" box, and chosen the printer
  27. (hooked to the printer port), but I'm not sure what else I have to do.

  29. Is there some sort of conflict that I'm overlooking?  Does anyone have
  30. any suggestions?
