  16. I've received an offer to buy a Mac IIcx 8/80, with a 14" colour monitor. 
  17. The machine is two years old.

  19. However, I'm not sure whether or not to buy it. Amongst other things, I'm 
  20. going to use it for QuickTime videoediting. Is it capable of handling such 
  21. data well / fast enough (frame rate, colours etc.)?

  23. I know Apple will release new machines in the II-series 19. October, but 
  24. since I haven't got a clue what their price tag in Norway will be like, I'm 
  25. a bit confused on what to do; wait, or buy the IIcx.

  27. IF I buy it, what upgrades would you recommend? I know it's possible to 
  28. upgrade it to a Quadra (750), but that upgrade is way too expensive in 
  29. Norway (close to $3500!). Anyone got the US price?

  31. I would appreciate it very much if someone could e-mail me (address is in 
  32. the signature) and give me some advice, maybe even mail me the specs of 
  33. the IIcx...? I "have" to make a decision during this week.
