  14. I received in email from AppleLink a file described as a uuencoded AppleSingle
  15. file, a document of  Image Press  application type (?).

  17. I have not yet found a way to view those files; trying to convert the
  18. uuencoded file back into some usable format with available UNIX or Mac
  19. utilities did not succeed.   UUDECODE on the UNIX side and a binary down-
  20. load followed by an attempt to use MacBinary failed (no big surprise there).

  22. For a moment, I thought I had found a solution, when after downloading
  23. the uuencoded file and dropping it on UULite 1.3 to convert it, a file
  24. with a GIFconverter icon was created; but double-clicking resulted in
  25. an error message from GIFconverter: "wrong format"...
  26. Suggestions, anyone?
