- I received in email from AppleLink a file described as a uuencoded AppleSingle
- file, a document of Image Press application type (?).
-
- I have not yet found a way to view those files; trying to convert the
- uuencoded file back into some usable format with available UNIX or Mac
- utilities did not succeed. UUDECODE on the UNIX side and a binary down-
- load followed by an attempt to use MacBinary failed (no big surprise there).
-
- For a moment, I thought I had found a solution, when after downloading
- the uuencoded file and dropping it on UULite 1.3 to convert it, a file
- with a GIFconverter icon was created; but double-clicking resulted in
- an error message from GIFconverter: "wrong format"...
- Suggestions, anyone?
