- We are having great problems with a machine here. It is a IIfx with 8MB
- running System Z-7.0.1 with tune-up.
-
- We suspect clashes between some third-party extensions but crashes and other
- symptoms are not consistent and difficult to pin down. Example problems are:
- whacky screen behaviour in Word 5.0 (these don't happen when the system is
- booted without extensions); crashes at various stages during startup,
- sometimes in the Finder.
-
- One principal suspect (we're checking all of them) is MultiClip, which we
- have in version 2.1.7.A. We are also running Norton Backup Scheduler,
- Norton FileSaver and RemvInit (for a PLI drive).
-
- Does anyone know of any clashes between any of these extensions?
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
