- I just FTPed what I believe to be the system upgrades for system 6.0.8 from
- ftp.apple.com. The two files I got are called:
- system-additions-image.hqx
- system-startup-image.hqx
-
- My questions are:
- -Do I need to put these two on seperate floppies or can I install them directly
- form my hard drive? If not, how can I just 'put' them on floppies and have
- them work right?
-
- -Is 6.0.8 the most recent system 6 Apple came out with before system 7? I'm
- still using 6.0.1 on my SE and don't think upgrading to system 7 will be all
- that advantageous for my machine.
-
- I'm not quite sure what I am doing, so any ideas, suggestions, instructions
- will be appreciated if you can E-mail me.
-
- Thanks in advance
- -Eric
