- Situation: me, in easy chair, Powerbook 145 on lap, working at home
- on not work-related stuff, late at night, can of beer at one
- elbow, bowl of peanuts at other.
-
- Development: growing irritation at bad tracking of trackball.
-
- Sudden insight: peanuts == fat -> slippery surfaces.
-
- Immediate action: remove trackball, wash hands and ball, and lo
- and behold.

-
- Does anyone have any further comments on the tracking of
- the Powerbook trackball? Because I get the impression that the
- things definitely has a preferred direction (vertical) and that
- it is rather susceptible to grease / sweat / whatever excuse it
- can find to slip.
-
- Victor.
