  25. Stranger still, I just got a letter from Apple UK (they have a new glossy 
  26. called "The Edge") which said - "you can now buy a PB100 4/40 from your
  27. dealer for \pounds 995 (ish)..." so I went and our dealer told me that 
  28. they had a message from Apple saying "please don't sell any more PB100s".

  30. What I'm wondering is why the hasty withdrawral? Margins too low? Sony 
  31. going to sue? Will System 7.1+ not be very friendly with 68000s? (Ok so 
  32. this is idle speculation of the worst kind, but what do people expect
  33. when there is no info).
