  20. Well, good luck.  I hope you don't suffer from the hard disk problem... it
  21. seems a number of PowerBooks had dodgy hard drive mechanisms fitted. 
  22. Symptoms include periodic whining and buzzing noises whenever the drive is
  23. spinning (even if it's not doing anything).  My PB100's hard drive had to be
  24. replaced.  The engineer said they'd had several in with the same problem.
