- Ever since I tried out the "Don't Sleep when plugged in"
- button in the "Portable" Control Panel. My MAC PB140 won't shutdown
- while plugged in. I saw the discussion about Word keeping
- it awake, but Word is not running at the time. In fact I
- have gotten to the point where nothing else is running. I have
- unchecked the box and rebooted/power cycled the system many times
- to no avail. The portable control panel is 7.0.1.
-
- Note also that it does go to sleep when the power is disconnected
- after the correct amount of time (i.e. not in response to a
- low battery). The behavior is exactly like the box were still
- checked, even though it isn't.
-
- I have at times also used it a file server, but file sharing
- is disabled at this point, although the "shared directory"
- still appears on the desktop.
-
- Any suggestions/advice? Thanks
-
