- Does anyone know what the latest Foreign File Access version is?
- I just upgraded my Mac IIci to 32Mb of memory and I found out
- (after much cursing and screaming) that the following files used
- by my CD ROM Disk are causing bus errors on startup:
-
- Foreign File Access, V1.1
- Audio CD Access V1.1
- High Sierra Access V2.01
- ISO 9660 Access V2.01
-
- My Mac IIci is running with 32Mb RAM, System 7.01 with System Tuneup
- v1.1.1. I shut off virtual memory and turned on 32-bit addressing
- from the memory control panel.
-
- I have the following extensions/cdevs loading at startup:
- GateKeeper/GateKeeper Aid, SuitCase II, DataPak, Disk Doubler, Jasmine
- SAM, After Dark, SCSI probe, RetroSpect SCSI, The Grouch, Wallpaper
- and probably some others that I can't remember. At any rate, if I
- remove the Foreign File Access from my system, the bus errors disappear.
- This makes my CD Rom Drive unusable tho'... Haven't checked ftp.apple.com
- because I've lost my link to the net. Thanks for any help you can give
- me...
