  11. Nothing ordinary that I do will cause my SE to start up from my brand-new
  12. external SCSI drive.  There's nothing wrong with the drive, because if I
  13. dismantle the System Folder on the internal hard drive, it starts fine on
  14. the external.  (I consider this an _extraordinary_ operation.)

  16. I hear rumors that this is a known problem with some versions of the SE ROM.
  17. I have ROM Version = 118.  Is this the known problem?  Is there a known
  18. solution?
