  12. I'm looking for information on QuickTime's speed and compression
  13. performance..  If anyone would provide me with a few figures (via
  14. e-mail; I don't normally read this group), I'd be very grateful..

  16. Information I'd like would be along the lines of the following:
  17. Frame rate, image size (pixel dimensions) and colour resolution
  18. (256 colours/24bit et cetera), movie size (disk usage) and number
  19. of frames.  Information on what hardware these figures are from
  20. would be very useful as well :-)  I'm speaking from a position of
  21. considerable ignorance, so if QT has some facility to trade speed
  22. for compression ratio, tell me - I'd prefer information on playback
  23. rates of at least 10 frames per second..
