- Being a longtime user of a MacPlus I now consider upgrading it
- or, more likely, to move to the PC-world. Before making such an
- horrible decision (moving to PC that is) I would appriciate if any
- fellow MacNetter could tell me what - and if thre are - ways to
- accomplish the following requirements on the Plus, while still
- fitting in the <1000 USD space that a brand new 486dx33 would cost:
-
- 68030 action - at least 16 Mhz
-
- System 7 compability
-
- FPU
-
- At least 8 Mb attachable ram - but rather more
-
- Is thre a product which could deliver all of this?
- Please note that colour is no concern, althought it wouldent go amiss
- if it was thrown in for free...
-
- As it stands I've heard of a couple of products that sound intresting,
- namley Railgun 030 and MicroMac. Are there any Netters out threre using
- these and what are your impressions?
-
- Finaly is it possible to connect a SuperDrive to the Plus? How much does
- that cost?
