- Yes, in fact the HP DWC comes with a color and a b/w cartridge. When the
- printer has a color cartridge installed and needs to print black, you
- actually get composit black (Blue Red and Yellow mixed together) and does
- not appear as "black" as does the B/W cartridge.

- The life of the cartridge depends on the mix of colors you print with. If
- you use mostly one or two colors, it is possible to run out of one or two
- colors and have plenty of the remaining color(s). The other factor is the
- density specified in the page setup and the amount of print and/or graphics
- on the page.
