- I have the same problem with my IIsi. I had the connections on the hardware
- checked and it still blips out. I have heard that other si owners have this
- problem. Now I know it exists on the LC, too.

- Temporary remedy: Go to Sound control panel and select volume level 7.
- This will get the sound back. Unfortunately, some games (ie Falcon) wont
- let you access this panel during play. Also, if one program is using the
- sound manager and you do this, the whole thing might freeze (this from
- personal experience - I don`t know the precise cause).

- I, too, would like an answer to this annoying problem. Game players are
- not the only ones to suffer - I work with music and it can be really annoying
- there, too.
