  14. The Classic ][ has 2 megs of RAM soldiered to the motherboard and 2 SIMMs slots.
  15. Your 4 meg ][ has a 1 meg SIMM in each slot.
  16. You have to replace each 1 meg SIMM with a 4 meg SIMM.  You must do this
  17. as a pair.  Make sure that when you order your SIMMs you specify that they
  18. are for a Classic ][ because not all 4 meg SIMMs are compatible.
