- My sister poked the (800K MacSE) floppy drive with a screwdriver
- and ended up with a misaligned read/write head.
- (It was making noises with a piece of loose metal..)
- Now the drive doesn't recognize formatted disks.
-
- Is there any way I can re-align the head myself?
- Is it just some screw in the drive that I can adjust myself?
- I don't want to take it to a shop since the computer itself
- isn't worth all that much anyway to justify the repair bill...
- Thanks in advance.
