- Hello all,
-
- We have an old Sun 1/4" tape drive (Wangtek series 5000 w/ Emulex MT02
- SCSI controller) which we would like to connect to our macs for
- backup purposes. I know how to connect the drive to the mac. My
- question is: will the mac need a software driver in order to use the
- tape drive (and if so, where can I get one?), or will backup utilities,
- such as Retrospect, be able to drive the tape drive directly?
-
- Thanks in advance for any info.
