  11. Actually, the Plus is also very neat for heavy word processing and even (wait
  12. for it!) for desktop publishing.  Add a full page monitor (Radius, or similar)
  13. and any word processing or page layout job goes far faster than if you were
  14. working on an SE'30--There is that much speed improvement because of working on
  15. a page at a time!

  17. Word 4.0 is better than 5.0 for the Plus, unless you have some very specific
  18. needs for MSW 5's specific additions. It is possible to use Canvas 2's DA or
  19. Canvas 3.04 and Word on a 4 megger Plus with some ease, and to produce some
  20. very striking and cogent documents with what, for some techno-snobs, is
  21. surprising speed.

  23. All that said, I am only waiting for the October announcements of the Mac
  24. IIvi/x to decide on my new Mac.  I will probably keep the Plus for word
  25. processing, and net it to my new machine, since I could get nothing like a
  26. reasonable cost/effectiveness price for my faithful Plus.
