- Actually, the Plus is also very neat for heavy word processing and even (wait
- for it!) for desktop publishing. Add a full page monitor (Radius, or similar)
- and any word processing or page layout job goes far faster than if you were
- working on an SE'30--There is that much speed improvement because of working on
- a page at a time!

- Word 4.0 is better than 5.0 for the Plus, unless you have some very specific
- needs for MSW 5's specific additions. It is possible to use Canvas 2's DA or
- Canvas 3.04 and Word on a 4 megger Plus with some ease, and to produce some
- very striking and cogent documents with what, for some techno-snobs, is
- surprising speed.

- All that said, I am only waiting for the October announcements of the Mac
- IIvi/x to decide on my new Mac. I will probably keep the Plus for word
- processing, and net it to my new machine, since I could get nothing like a
- reasonable cost/effectiveness price for my faithful Plus.
