  22. In my manual, they say to NEVER completely drain a PB100's battery.  It
  23. damages the lead-acid batteries to drain them all the way, and they
  24. won't hold a charge as well after that.

  26. They also say to completely drain the PB140 and PB170's memory once a
  27. month (or so).  They claim that it aids the lithium batteries, and they
  28. will hold a charge better if you do this.

  33. With my PB100, I'm getting about one hour of heavy-duty use on a charge
  34. (heavy-duty means accessing the HD a lot, and the HD never spins down).
  35. I'm planning on upgrading the memory so I can use a RAM disk.  Does
  36. anyone have recommendations for the partitioning of the memory?  I was
  37. considering 3Mb RAM and 5Mb RAM disk.
