  13. i am thinking about getting one of the macintosh ii series
  14. computers.
  15. since i am an elctrical engineering/computer science major, i would
  16. like to get AT LEAST a macintosh II si.  i have been also
  17. considering a mac II ci, so i could later upgrade it to a quadra's 
  18. cpu.  my problem is this:

  20. there are so many macintosh models, like the ci, si, fx, cx, etc etc
  21. i would really appreciate it if someone could differentiate these
  22. models and any others i failed to mention.  i am looking for
  23. a system in the following range:  at the low range i will take
  24. a mac II si, and at the high range i will take a mac quadra 700.
