  15. I've got a Borrowed LC 10/40 running System 7 w/12" RGB monitor.

  17. Problem: I was adjusting the "VIEWS" setup control panel and suddenly
  18. the computer froze. Okay, so I restart. Problem now is, I get the 
  19. "Happy Mac" face, then I get a disk with a question mark (?) through it,
  20. and nothing happens. How- I've had this happen once before (eons ago)
  21. and I seem to remembed someone mentioning a CORRUPT SYSTEM FILE.
  22. Reinstalling the system software fixed it.

  24. Answer: Could someone EMAIL me telling me if this is the problem?
  25. Unfortunately, I was a fool and didn't bring the system disks WITH me, but
  26. I just want to make sure that all I need to do is a re-install of the
  27. system.
