- There is a product that you can get from Mac Warehouse called a CableSafe.
- It costs $38 and consists of a metal bracket, a cable and a brass padlock.
-
- You remove 2 screws from the bottom of a PB140,70 or 3 screws from the
- bottom of a PB100, and using supplied screws, attach the bracket. It
- is hinged in such a way that prevents removal of the screws while the
- cable and padlock are attached. I used one on a PB170 before I sold it
- and have used it on my PB100.
-
- As it adds about a pound of weight, I don't attach it unless I fly to
- another city on business. It is very easy to take on and off.
-
- You do have to extend the folding feet to keep the metal from scratching
- the table.
-
- A company called Security Concepts out of Santa Monica, CA makes the
- Cable Safe, but they primarily sell through MacWarehouse.
-
- I am merely a satisfed customer.
