- While running a small, slightly out-of-date program (DNAid+) today, my PB100
- suddenly got VERY tired. You know how the things are supposed to rest? Well,
- this one decided to take a vacation. The program, Finder, EVERYTHING was
- moving really slowly. I mean, I clicked on the desktop, and to redraw the
- Finder windows and put the DNAid+ windows in the background took about 1.2
- minutes. Really! I could WATCH the screen redraw my desktop icons pixel at a
- time. Punching the reset button didn't do a thing (booted up in slow-mo), but
- after a desktop controlled shutdown and powerup, it was normal.
-
- STATS: System 7.0.1, Tuneup 1.1.1 INITS: lots, but none newer than two weeks
- ago. DNAid: I've used it for a year; never saw THIS happen before.
