  12. I am thinking about purchasing a CD-ROM drive.  I looked at a MacWorld
  13. review, and it stated that NEC's  CDR-74 is a good one to buy.  I saw
  14. an ad for mid-$500 for this machine.

  16. Is CDR-74 worth what the review states?  Is it reliable?  Any known
  17. problems?  Any comments by user is welcome.  Please assume I know very
  18. little about CD-ROMs (other than what was stated on the MacWorld
  19. article...)
