- to initialize 4d the first time you use it with a serial number unique
- to your network.

- use the international version or the swiss version of 4d if there is

- i don't think that you will have to rewrite any code to switch; the
- big things to be careful of are the way that numbers and dates are
- formatted. i should warn you again, though, that it is not legal to
- use a US version of 4d outside of the US (as far as i know).
