- I ran into the same problem and (fortunatly) found AppDisk at about the
- same time. It is an application instead of an extension so you can start
- it anytime including putting an alias in your Startup Items folder. You
- set the size of the disk by setting the memory size in the Get Info box.
- Appdisk has an autosave feature that writes the contents of the disk
- back into the application file every x minutes. It's a $15 shareware
- item from Mark Adams and it can be found at sumex.
