-
- I had a similar problem, tho not exactly the same--my scrapbook would
- launch, and it would appear in my list of apps (I run system 7), but no
- scrapbook window would appear. I suspect the problem occurred because I
- had a system crash while my scrapbook was open.
-
- My solution was simple--I replaced my copy of the scrapbook DA. If you're
- in system 7, this is as simple as dragging the scrapbook DA from the system 7
- installation disk to the apple menu folder (inside your system folder). In
- system 6, go to the Font/DA mover (launch it), remove the current scrapbook,
- then stick in a new copy (also via F/D mvr) from your system 6 installation
- disks. If this doesn't solve the problem... well, without knowing more
- about your set-up, I can't really offer any more advice.
-
- Yes, I replaced the old with the one in the installation disk. I didn't
- work neither. As a matter of fact, I also tried to open the scrapbook from
- within the installation disk. Nothing worked.
-
- Would this has anything to do with the scrapbook file in the system folder?
- The file contains all the stored images or whatever in the scrapbook, right?
- I just hate to replace that too, because it holds some PICT I don't want to
- get rid of.
