- The following is my personal experience with VCP Computer Products, which is
- located in Anaheim, CA. They have a full-page ad in MacWeek and other
- Mac-specific
- magazines almost every week. They sell hard drives, optical drives, Syquest,
- etc. under their own label and other products.
-
- Three months ago I saw that they also sell external hard drive and Syquest
- kits.

- Just as another data point, I've purchased two external hard drive cases from
- them in the past year and a half. I've never had a problem with them, but
- since I live in the Orange County area, I just drove to their office and
- picked them up myself. In the past year, they've gone from a one man operation
- to 20 or so employees and seem to have become more disorganized. My only
- complaint with them was that the last time I bought a case from them I
- wanted to get a 50-50 SCSI cable instead of the useless 25-50 cable (which I've
- got tons of) that was included. Instead of just switching it, they charged
- me an additional $15 for the different cable. I know this is a minor quibble,
- but annoying nevertheless.
-
- The cases are pretty good quality though.

- P.S. Standard disclaimer... I am not now nor ever been mixed up with VCP etc.
