  15. If I understand it right, Microsoft Word 5.0 is programmed in a way to
  16. allow for plug-in modules to be installed. (MS-Word 5.0 for Macintosh
  17. comes with add-ins like grammar, equation editor.)

  19. It is an annoying thing most users may have realized by this time that
  20. Word does not support cross-referencing, auto-table numbering and any
  21. function which is somehow related to text-markers (as available in Word 5
  22. for Dos or Word for Windows).

  24. Does anybody know something about third party add-ins which implement the
  25. described functions or is there any rumor about MS implementing this
  26. essential feature in a future release ?
