- What you want is not possible with Hermes. Frank is using the CTS line to
- detect a ring on the modem. His rationale is simple - don't trust the
- auto-=answer feature of the modem, because the BBS may go down and leave the
- modem answering calls and costing users money.

- I understand that Second Sight 2.x has a HWHS feature built in now, but think
- I've heard something about difficulty on the older Macs (68000 based). You
- should look into that anyway, if you can afford SS.

- I have no details on FristClass BBS. DOn't know how it handles the modem - I
- just know it has a terrible command-line interface for users who don't have
- their software.
