- (I didn't re-post the complete article from Tom; it is #881)
-
- 1) MSW does not, Think 'C' does.
-
- 2) MSW does...allows you to choose Fwd/Bck/Selected/All.
-
- 3) I use the note pad or the Scrapbook...more powerful.
-
- 4) I have seen Mac programs that do this...never used it (not even
- in 'vi'.
-
- 5) Yes, Quick-Keys will do this, so will the NotePad (I use it a lot
- when I use 'vi' to store a whole series of commands.) Also with
- MSW you can set an EXTENSIVE list of commands to any single (albeit
- modified) keystroke. ie:CTRL-OPT-CMD-SHIFT-CAPS-W.
-
- 5a) Ummm, that is what CMD-Z is for (UNDO).
-
- 6) I don't know about Marks, I usually just insert mnemonics....
-
- As far as extensibility, I suppose if MSW were free, you could hack
- the source code yourself. Otherwise you are stuck with the hundreds of
- commands available.

- Sorry, I've used 'vi, 'emacs' and a host of Mac WP's. I like my mouse and
- windows. (Now, X isn't so bad....;)
