  15. I am interested in the opinions on the following video cards for a Mac CI.
  16. I have not been able to find any video reports, so my understanding of these
  17. cards below are based on ads in the US Mac mags .

  19. SuperMac 8 series 3    accelerated 8 bit can be upgrade to 24 bit
  20.  
  21. RasterOps 8XLi        accelerated 8 bit can be upgrade to 24 bit
  22.  
  23. Radius 8x        accelerated 8 bit can be upgrade to 24 bit
  24.  
  25. RasterOps 8XL        accelerated 8 bit non-upgradeable
  26. Is there an equivalent to this made by Radius and/or SuperMac.

  28. My reasons for the interest is that there are vast price differences in the
  29. 8 bit upgradeble cards between the various manufacturers eg. like double.

  31. I really don't need 24 bit, so a accelerated 8 bit card(upgradeble or not) would
  32. suffice, but again which one.
