- I recently bought a Sharp PC6781. Nifty machine, 2MB RAM,
- 386SL-20 and 80MB hard drive.
-
- Of course in order to maximize the amount of RAM made
- available to DOS (v5.0), I bought and installed QEMM-386.
- Well after several hours -- and uncountable number of
- reboots -- I finally got QEMM to come up (Stealth mode and
- all).
-
- My question to the net is, is there anyone out there with
- both a PC6781 and QEMM386 that would like to share their
- "include" and "exclude" high memory areas. It seems that
- this machine has *alot* of ROM for power-save features and
- what not, and I'm afraid that I may be giving ROM to QEMM
- when in fact I shouldn't.
-
- The reason I'm suspicious is that sometimes, when the
- machine goes into suspend mode, when returning to resume
- mode everything seems to wake up *except* the keyboard.
-
- Reply via mail if you like. I can post a summary.
