  11. Windows allows for control of color assignments through use of the control
  12. panel.  A frustrating point, however, is that not all of the colors in ver. 3.1
  13. appear to be controllable.  For example, there appears to be no provision for
  14. changing the color of the arrowhead pointers on scroll bars.  A particularly
  15. annoying problem is with Excel in which some of the dialogue boxes display only
  16. with a dark gray background -- or at least I can't find any way to vary them.
  17. They are very hard to read on an LCD screen.

  19. Is there any answer to these problems, either some control I haven't found, a
  20. patch, or what have you?
