  11. Just a word of explanation for the project summary Maureen posted
  12. yesterday.  Isis receives research funding from the government in
  13. support of our theoretical work and the development of a new version
  14. of the system, closely integrated with OSF 1/AD (a.k.a. Mach 3.0) and
  15. Chorus (a.k.a. UI Atlas, I suppose).  We do annual project summaries
  16. for DARPA, our funding organization, and since I get a fair amount of
  17. mail asking about our current work, I felt that we might just as well
  18. post the 1992 version of the summary.
