- I cannot speak for 1984-85, but I joined Gemini in February 1988 and
- was there until BiiN folded. While Siemens folk (both German and US) were
- involved with several different things, the Ada compiler/library
- people were all Intel employees during my time.
-
- When BiiN folded, all of us (including the Ada compiler people) who worked
- for a certain manager had a photo taken of us under the BiiN logo. I wrote
- down everyone's names so I wouldn't forget. Many went back with Intel,
- some went to Sequent or elsewhere.
-
- The Ada compiler was DoD certified and had reasonably impressive performance.
- I've often wondered what became of it (perhaps the compiler manager knows).
