- Please forgive me if this is the wrong newsgroup.
-
- I have an AT&T 6386E/33 computer which I understand is the same as the
- Intel 302. On reboot, it beeps 1-2-3 and hangs. The error message for
- beeps 1-2-3 is something like "DMA read/write error".
-
- If I power off for ten minutes, it comes up OK (in fact, I'm sending
- this message from it).
-
- I've pulled all boards, pressed on all socketed chips and swapped RAM
- chips around. Nothing seems to help except a long off-time.
-
- Suggestions are more than welcome.

- Pete
