- I'm one of a two student team doing a design project
- in preparation for graduation with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
-
- What we are trying to find is a cross assembler for the i8051 that
- will run on a PC or compatible.
-
- The stock stuff that Intel sells is too much for the pocket book
- and we were hoping to find a public domain assembler that would
- suffice. We will be using an EPROM burner for the final transfer
- to the microcontroller. If we can just get something that won't
- break our bank acct, we'll consider buying it.
-
- I've heard that there are C compilers/assemblers that may also do
- the job so any info on those would be appreciated as well.
-
- A reply via email would be better, but I'll check for
- info in this newsgroup as well.
-
- Thanks,
-
