  11. We have a lab with PS/2 model 50Z systems.

  13. Upon booting it comes up with a 1782 error code message.
  14. Using the reference disk to re-establish the setups, the machine
  15. would function fine until the unit was turned off overnight.
  16. The problem then migrated to 2 other machines.
  17.  
  18. Checking for virus's there were none.
  19. I purchased new CMOS batteries and installed them.
  20. Now get this...  After pulling out the batteries and re-installing them
  21. the machine booted up fine with no errors.

  23. The machine was turned off and is now coming up with the all to familiar
  24. 1782 error message.  I have 3 machines doing the exact same thing.

  26. Any suggestions??  HELP!
