  29. The 386SLC is soldered into the 56/57 SLC machines, so I
  30. doubt you could send
  31. it back to IBM !!. (Or at least it's soldered into my 56SLC)

  33. Incidentally the 486SLC will retail for #639 + tax in the UK
  34. - that's around
  35. $1200 + tax (which is 17.5%). I don't think I'll be following
  36. up on my original
  37. intention to get this (I had expected $259 to translate to
  38. around #250, not
  39. over twice as much).  :-(
