- The 386SLC is soldered into the 56/57 SLC machines, so I

- it back to IBM !!. (Or at least it's soldered into my 56SLC)

- Incidentally the 486SLC will retail for #639 + tax in the UK
- - that's around
- $1200 + tax (which is 17.5%). I don't think I'll be following
- up on my original
- intention to get this (I had expected $259 to translate to
- around #250, not
- over twice as much). :-(
