- Apparently my last posting was eaten, so I'll try again. I apologize if I'm
- duplicating the posting though...
-
- I'm stuck with a bunch of third-rate sound cards that I absolutely have to
- write some software for (I know I should just use SoundBlasters, but...).
- These things are manufactered by Commodore (I think) and are called "CBM
- Voice Cards" (they're used in the CBM clones we've got). The cards come with
- a little bit of software that demonstrates they actually can be used as a
- voice synthesizer, or a reasonable audio card for replaying digitized sound.
- However, they have minimal docs beyond "The CMB Voice Card is compatible with
- the Covox Speech Thing and the Parallel Port DAC."
-
- So, does anyone have any info or know where I can get info regarding software
- interfaces for the "Covox Speech Thing" or a "Parallel Port DAC?" I would
- appreciate almost any help at this point....
