  15. Help!..my old NEC Multisync [it's a really old one...or rather, not a
  16. new, current model at least] has developed a most annoying habit...every
  17. so often [more and more often :-(] it just goes black.  Totally.  Almost
  18. like there is a screensaver enabled, but there isn't.  In order to get
  19. my screen back I have to shut the monitor off [the power switch in the
  20. rear] and turn it back on.  Sometimes I have to do it a few times.

  22. I *know* it is the monitor, because I hooked up another monitor to my
  23. system, and it did not do the same thing.

  25. What is wrong with my monitor??...and more importantly...can it be
  26. fixed???
