- The first statement is true, the last statment is not true, at least in
- theory. It is EASIER to backup and restore, but if you don't have any
- secondary media, it is not possible. However, I believe it is somewhat
- foolish not to have a backup of your system at any time. That being
- said...

- The SDEFRAG program has a /G option which can be used to shrink the size
- of the Stacker drive. If you use this option to free up as much space as
- you can on the uncompressed drive, then you can copy lots of files from
- the Stacker drive to the uncompressed drive. This will free up space on
- the stacked drive, and you can then run SDEFRAG/G again to free up some
- more uncompressed space. Repeat until all files are copied.

- This is a very painful way to go, and does not have the security of the
- backup/restore method if something goes wrong. It is basically the
- inverse operation of the automated Stacker INSTALL utility.
