  22. I recently asked a similar question in this space.  Based on the replies
  23. I received, I bought Checkit V3.0 from Touchstone.  It seems to be a
  24. fairly extensive set of diagnostics--it does memory, CPU and co-processor,
  25. disk drives, serial and parallel ports, mouse, video, and so on.  It also
  26. does benchmarks and has configuration reports.  I got it for $85 from 
  27. PC Connection.

  29. One thing I think it needs is an automatic screen blanker for those times
  30. when you set it up to run memory tests overnight, or whatever.  I guess
  31. you can always turn off the monitor while it runs, though.
